You fancy a fun day out and book a climbing outing at the Klimbos. Super fun! After the half-hour instruction, you get to climb independently for another 3 hours. But you weren't just looking for a cool activity, you wanted to make a full day out of it. So where are you going to find what there is to do around the climbing forest? Look no further! We have made a list for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klimbos Achterhoek in Ruurlo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Say Ruurlo, you say active! Besides our beautiful climbing forest, there are many other activities to do. How about the gnome trail<\/a>, the love path<\/a>, a maze<\/a>, Museum MORE<\/a> or very cool mountain bike tours<\/a>. Sporting challenge enough. But there are also delicious pancakes to eat at restaurant de Heikamp<\/a>, which also includes a nice playground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climbing forest Brabantse Wal in Bergen op Zoom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Boslustweg in Bergen op Zoom you will find the climbing forest, but there are plenty of other fun things to do around it as well. There is a barefoot path<\/a>, a playground, a city farm<\/a> with farm shop, visitor centre Nature stage<\/a> and there will be catering facilities available for a nice snack and drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climbing forest Dordrecht in the Biesbosch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the edge of the Biesbosch is Klimbos Dordrecht. A unique experience in this beautiful nature reserve. But there are more activities to do besides climbing. Visit the Biesboschcentrum<\/a> with interesting and interactive exhibitions, rent a boat<\/a> or canoe, look for beaver tracks, play in the natural playground<\/a> or take a dip in Merwelanden recreational lake<\/a>. Want to do all these activities? Then stay overnight at StayOkay Hostel Dordrecht<\/a> just 500m walk from Klimbos Dordrecht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klimbos Gooi-Eemland in Lage Vuursche<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Lage Vuursche, Klimbos Gooi-Eemland is located at Pijnenburg estate<\/a>. Open to nature lovers, this estate has plenty of opportunities to get some fresh air. Besides the climbing forest, you will find a beautiful cycle path across the estate, several hiking trails, bridle paths and a teahouse<\/a> for a tasty snack and drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climbing forest Veluwe in Apeldoorn<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This climbing forest is located in the middle of Berg and Forest City Park<\/a> (over 250 hectares in size), where there are many different activities to do. For example, visit the Apenheul<\/a>, play on the playground<\/a>, see the 'Stone bench' by the forest pond where Queen Wilhelmina used to paint, climb on the watchtower<\/a> (26 metres high!), spot deer and boar or follow one of the many hiking trails. The Crown Estates of Paleis het Loo are also nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
