With us, you climb in real forests! In the middle of nature, which we want to take care of. That is why we take good care of the trees, of course, but we are also concerned with sustainability and the environment in other ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We develop the climbing routes ourselves and build all platforms and elements ourselves in our own workshop in Apeldoorn. For this, we use untreated wood and also reuse pieces of wood for elements whenever possible. Untreated wood lasts longer than treated wood, because there is no paint or other substances on it that could damage it. It is also less harmful to the environment, as the wood is not chemically treated with, for example, impregnating agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The climbing routes are designed to use the strongest and healthiest trees. Platforms are placed in such a way that the tree is not trapped and are moved every few years. In this way, we can use the trees for a long time without them being put under the wrong strain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our trees are also inspected, with this we monitor the health and strength of the trees. If it turns out that it is better for the tree to change something about the route, this is planned immediately. Also, if it turns out that the tree cannot bear a load for a while, the route is altered. This allows the trees to continue growing undisturbed and our forests remain beautiful in the long term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sustainability is not just about being able to use forests for a long time, another part of sustainability in energy consumption, for example. In the media, savings tips are all over the place, for example about switching to LED lighting or using heating\/air conditioning less. Fortunately, we don't have to deal with that in the forest! We enjoy the weather we are given and only climb when the sun is up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
