Under the watchful eye of guests and Klimbos staff, the new name of the climbing forest was also celebrated with alderman Marco Wenzkowski.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2009, Klimbos Veluwe was opened in Apeldoorn. Then-owners Jip Peper and Hans-Peter Baars found a great location for their first climbing forest. And it still appears to be successful! Because 15 years later, the Klimbos is still there and many guests know how to find and experience it every year. Alderman Wenzkowski also agrees: <em>\"I like the fact that residents of Apeldoorn, but also beyond, can spend their free time in such a way. Not only do you experience nature, but it also gets you moving. That's a win-win as far as I'm concerned.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The anniversary celebration was made extra festive by also reflecting on the new name. Director Rodrick de Wolff explains: <em>\"Since 2024, we have changed the naming of our climbing forests. Not the regional name, but the place name takes centre stage. We are proud to also have a climbing forest in beautiful Apeldoorn. A great place in the middle of the city park.\"<\/em> Site manager Jille Gielingh adds: <em>\"With 10 climbing routes, we have a great offer for everyone from 6 years upwards! We see many climbers leaving our forest with happy faces again!\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Klimbos Apeldoorn is part of Klimbos Nederland with a total of 5 locations, namely Klimbos Apeldoorn, Klimbos Bergen op Zoom, Klimbos Dordrecht, Klimbos Lage Vuursche and Klimbos Ruurlo.
