On Wednesday 19 February, the first day of the climbing season, Klimbos Ruurlo's revamped junior routes were officially opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the watchful eye of some attendees, councillor van der Noordt performed the opening act. To loud applause, the starting sign of route Orange 1 was unveiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The councillor was impressed by the innovations and the fact that so much thought was given to nature when building the climbing forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Site manager Dirk reveals exactly what the innovations mean: \"With the renewals of the routes, a logical structure has been taken into account. Orange 1 is the entry route and should be climbable for everyone, orange 2 is the junior climbing route with mainly ziplines. Orange 3, on the other hand, is really challenging in both height and elements.
