For many children, a children's party is a natural moment of fun, attention and connection. But for children growing up in poverty, this is far from always the case. Fortunately, there are companies that are committed to making a difference. Like Klimbos Nederland, which will again make children's parties available in 2025 for families who cannot afford them themselves.
Tanja Oostervink, director of the Children's Festival Foundation:
"A child's party may seem like something small, but it has a huge impact. The sense of belonging, the self-confidence that grows, the memories that remain, all contribute to a stronger foundation for a child's future. Thanks to partners like Klimbos Netherlands, we can not only give children a great day, but also give them something that strengthens them in the long run."
The cooperation between Klimbos Nederland and the Kinderfeest Foundation has now existed for several years. Families registered through social workers can take advantage of a fully catered party in the climbing forest for eight children through the foundation.
Simone Dijkhuis, marketing manager at Klimbos Netherlands:
"We believe everyone should be able to experience nature. Being outdoors and being active is good for every child. By working together with the Children's Festival Foundation, we ensure that even children for whom this is not a given can have a cool, active and positive experience. It is great that we can contribute to this in this way."

Stichting Kinderfeest is grateful for the involvement of Klimbos Nederland. Thanks to partnerships like this, together we can reach children for whom a party is anything but natural.
