Sometimes stories come along that you just have to share. This time it is colleague Dirk-Jan who volunteers in refugee camps in Bosnia with his dedication and enthusiasm. Now he has come up with a playful action to raise money and we can't wait to share it with you! Climbing in the climbing forest: a sporting challenge Wednesday 15 January will be a special day, as Dirk-Jan and four colleagues will climb for eight hours in Klimbos Lage Vuursche. They are not doing this for no reason, but to raise money for refugee work in Bosnia. The idea is simple but original: instead of running around, they will climb routes in the climbing forest. The great thing is that you can sponsor them per route. And to keep it a bit sporty and fair, they start with the easiest routes and slowly work their way up to the most difficult climbing routes. Why this action? Dirk-Jan volunteers in two refugee camps in Bosnia: one for men and one for...
Each of the locations is unique, but one thing they have in common is the beautiful surroundings.
All our climbing forests are located in real forests, where we do not use climbing poles. This gives you the best climbing experience! We build and maintain the routes ourselves and they are inspected externally for safety. Our staff is trained to give safety instructions and to give you the best experience. A day you will never forget!
