Located between Baarn and Hilversum, a stone's throw from Amersfoort, in the middle of the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, you will find Klimbos Lage Vuursche. The largest climbing forest in the Netherlands! Clamber through barrels, zipline through the trees or climb to great heights. Challenge and fun for young and old! The climbing forest At Klimbos Lage Vuursche, you'll find no fewer than 11 climbing routes that take you up to 23 metres high! This makes it the largest climbing forest in the Netherlands! For everyone from 6 years of age and with a minimum height of 1.20 metres, there are the 5 orange routes. Here you climb through barrels, balance on cables and clamber along nets. There is even a junior zip wire route. A great adventure for young and old. Are you taller than 1.40 metres? Then you can choose from 6 additional routes, structured like ski runs: from blue (easy) to black (very challenging). All our climbing forests are located in real forests, where we do not use climbing poles. This gives you the best climbing experience! We build and maintain the routes ourselves and they are inspected externally for safety. Our staff is trained to give safety instructions and to give you the best experience.
