Klimbos Assen is located in a great recreational area in Assen, namely the Baggelhuizerplas. So besides climbing, there is plenty to do!
In the water
There are several beaches to lie down and relax. There is also plenty of water to have fun in. Check the water quality beforehand though!
Walking and cycling
There are plenty of footpaths at the Baggelhuizerplas. There are also marked routes and you can enjoy running.
We also have cycle paths and mountain bike trails. Plenty to do for the sporty!
Dog beach
There is a special area at Baggelhuizesplas where dogs are welcome. There is also an off-leash area, plenty of fun for dogs and their owners!
Beachclub Sand-Erover
This beach club has a cosy atmosphere and you can go for a sumptuous lunch, a delicious dinner or a cosy drink. Come sit inside or enjoy the sun on the covered and heated terrace!
