New orange junior route officially opened
Klimbos Lage Vuursche has a new challenge! On Wednesday 21 October, the brand new orange junior route was officially opened. With this expansion, the climbing forest now has a total of 12 routes, six of which are junior routes, and it can now call itself the largest climbing forest in the Netherlands. The existing green route was also renewed this autumn, allowing visitors to experience even more adventure among the trees.
Festive opening of the orange route
The new orange route was officially put into use on Wednesday. After a short speech, the ribbon was officially cut and it was time for the real work: climbing! The first enthusiastic visitors were able to discover the new route immediately.
“We find it important to continuously develop our climbing forests and to offer our visitors something new every time. With the addition of the orange route and the renewal of the green route, we are taking a great step in this direction. Of course, it is something we are extremely proud of that Klimbos Lage Vuursche is now allowed to call itself the largest climbing forest in the Netherlands.”," said Ciaran Barsema, director of Klimbos Nederland.
The green route has also been renewed
In addition to the expansion with the orange route, Klimbos Lage Vuursche has also revamped the existing green route this autumn. The route has been updated and offers visitors a great climbing experience.
With this renewal and the addition of the orange route, Klimbos Lage Vuursche continues to invest in variety, challenge and fun for both beginners and experienced climbers.

All our climbing forests are located in real forests, where we do not use climbing poles. This gives you the best climbing experience! We build and maintain the routes ourselves and they are inspected externally for safety. Our staff is trained to give safety instructions and to give you the best experience.
