At a great spot, near the Baggelhuizerplas, you will find our newest climbing forest. The new attraction in Assen! With no fewer than 7 climbing routes with a zip line, difficult transitions and large nets, there is a challenge for everyone. Choose your own climbing route and decide how high you want to go. Come climb together and experience the most challenging day out!

Climbing for young and old

Climbing is allowed from 6 years and up, but has no upper age limit. So grandparents, come on up!

At Klimbos Assen, you can choose from 7 routes, namely 3 junior routes, the green route, the blue route, the red route and the brown route (the map will follow later). Come along and see for yourself how cool this is!

Route

There is free parking at the Klimbos. Please bear in mind that it can sometimes be busy and you may have to move your car further away. You may be delayed by 5 to 10 minutes because of this, so leave home on time!

Do you have a question?

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

Yes, it is highly recommended to book tickets online. Unfortunately, we cannot book reservations by phone.

Without a reservation, there may not be room in an instruction immediately and you may therefore have to wait a (longer) time.

Who should I buy tickets for?

Only if you want to climb, you need tickets. There is free entry for anyone who just wants to come and watch.

The junior routes (orange) are suitable for anyone at least 6 years old and with a minimum height of 1.20m. The regular routes are available to anyone taller than 1.40m. Unsure which ticket to buy? Then choose a junior ticket, which can always be upgraded to a regular ticket on location.

Can I cancel or change a ticket?

Tickets cannot be cancelled. However, you can move the climbing date or instruction time to another date or time 24 hours in advance. You can always rebook, provided there are enough climbing spots available.
