Yes, it is highly recommended to book tickets online. Unfortunately, we cannot book reservations by phone.
Without a reservation, there may not be room in an instruction immediately and you may therefore have to wait a (longer) time.
Only if you want to climb do you need a ticket. There is free entry if you want to come and watch.
The junior routes are accessible to anyone at least 6 years old and 1.20m tall, for the regular routes you need to be at least 1.40m tall. In some cases, supervision is required. Please check the regulations.
Tickets cannot be cancelled. However, you can move the climbing date or instruction time to another date or time 24 hours in advance. You can always rebook, provided there are enough climbing spots available.
You can move the climbing date or instruction date to another date or time 24 hours in advance. Additional bookings can be made at any time, provided there are enough climbing spots.
It is also possible to convert a junior ticket to a regular ticket on location. You only pay the difference in ticket extra. If you want to add a person to the booking, this is possible provided there are enough climbing spots available. We work with a limited capacity, so we are quickly fully booked. You can add this person via the booking module. If you do not see any availability, we are unfortunately fully booked.

In our Climbing Forests, you have up to 3 hours of climbing fun. This includes instruction. After the instruction, you choose which routes you want to climb. The choice is yours! Of course, you can always climb for less than 3 hours. For schools, there is a maximum climbing time of 2 hours.
Please note that if you choose a start time, the climbing time will run until the closing time. For example, if you have instruction at 4pm, you will have a climbing time of 2 hours at a closing time of 6.30pm.
From our own experience, we have seen that children of this age understand the 'self-confidence principle'. For younger children, this often becomes a bit more difficult.
From a minimum age of 6 years and with a minimum height of 1.20m, you can climb with us. This is due to the reach height the children must have, which is at least 1.30 metres.
A prerequisite for climbing is that a child shows in the compulsory instruction that he or she understands the instruction and can climb independently. The advice of the day manager is leading in this.
Our guiding principle is that climbing is fun for every child!
No, children with a junior ticket are allowed to climb independently in the junior forest. Of course, it is possible and fun to climb with them. If you want to, you have to buy a (junior) ticket.
Yes you can. If you climb only in the junior forest as an adult, you also pay only for a junior ticket.
For children under 16, an adult (18+) must be present in the Klimbos at all times.
Yes, for safety reasons you are allowed to weigh a maximum of 120kg.
You can still climb well in the Klimbos during rain. Our materials are made for it and it is not dangerous. In a thunderstorm, the routes are cleared. When it is safe again, climbing can continue.
Would you rather come climbing on another day anyway? No problem! You can move the climbing date to another day 24 hours in advance.
It is no problem to bring your dog to the Klimbos, as long as it is on a leash.
Sure, you can. At the climbing locations, there are picnic tables where you can have a nice sit down. There are also catering facilities at the climbing locations, or in their immediate vicinity, where you can buy drinks and snacks.
For climbing, put on nice, sturdy shoes with good grip. Choose clothes that are comfortable and in which you can move well.
For young climbers, we recommend wearing a t-shirt in hot weather and not a shirt with thin straps. The straps of the junior belt may otherwise cut into the shoulders.
Sure, through the website it is possible to buy a gift voucher/climbing gift for a location. The climbing gift will be sent to you digitally via email. The gift voucher has a validity of 2 years.
Parking is available at all our climbing forests.
At Klimbos Ruurlo, Klimbos Bergen op Zoom, Klimbos Dordrecht and Klimbos Lage Vuursche, this is free of charge directly at the Klimbos. At Klimbos Apeldoorn, we use the car park near the Apenheul. A municipal daily rate applies here, currently €10.70.
Yes, all our locations have lockers which you may use free of charge. You keep the key to the locker until you have finished climbing.
The locker is big enough to store your materials.
