Although climbing is often done in spring and summer, it is also a great activity to do in the colder months. And we give you 5 reasons why:
- You see the most beautiful scenes
In summer, of course, the leaves on the trees are great to see. Climbing up into the trees and still having a green view everywhere. But when the leaves have fallen, you can actually see a lot more! Besides, a lower sun also gives very nice pictures. Imagine seeing the sun's rays coming through between the trees. Great right!
- You have a complete workout, without having to work very hard at it
Nothing bootcamp, crossfit or HIIT. With climbing, you use all your muscles and therefore have a complete work-out! And you choose how long you want to keep up this work-out, each route takes about 20 to 40 minutes and in total you have 3 hours to climb.
- Fun, challenge and a chance to push boundaries
Besides the work-out, it is, above all, a lot of fun! You challenge yourself, choose which routes you want to climb and in doing so, you can push your limits. Do you find heights a bit exciting? Then choose the lower routes. Is no challenge too crazy for you? Then go for route black or grey, for example! Climbing is for everyone.
- Instead of cycling and walking, there are other ways to get some fresh air
As wonderful as hiking and cycling are, climbing gives you a whole different impetus. And you experience nature in a completely different way.
- That hot chocolate afterwards is very much deserved!
And just like after a nice winter walk, the hot drink afterwards is a wonderful reward to warm up again!
By the way, are you afraid of cold hands while climbing? Then don't forget to bring gloves or buy them directly from us!
