Klimbos Apeldoorn celebrates 15th anniversary
This year, Klimbos Apeldoorn celebrates its 15th anniversary, which was celebrated on 12 April. Under the watchful eye of guests and Klimbos staff, the new name of the climbing forest was also celebrated with alderman Marco Wenzkowski. Klimbos Veluwe opened in Apeldoorn in 2009. Then-owners Jip Peper and Hans-Peter Baars found a great location for their first climbing forest. And it still appears to be successful! Because 15 years later, the Klimbos is still there and many guests know how to find and experience it every year. Alderman Wenzkowski also agrees: "I think it's great that residents of Apeldoorn, but also beyond, can spend their free time in such a way. Not only do you experience nature, but it also gets you moving. That's a win-win as far as I'm concerned." The anniversary celebration was made extra festive by also reflecting on the new name.
