You fancy a fun day out and book a climbing outing at the Klimbos. Super fun! After the half-hour instruction, you get to climb independently for another 3 hours. But you weren't just looking for a cool activity, you wanted to make a full day out of it. So where are you going to find what there is to do around the climbing forest? Look no further! We have made a list for you!
Klimbos Achterhoek in Ruurlo
Say Ruurlo, you say active! Besides our beautiful climbing forest, there are many other activities to do. How about the gnome trail, the love path, a maze, Museum MORE or very cool mountain bike tours. Sporting challenge enough. But there are also delicious pancakes to eat at restaurant de Heikamp, which also includes a nice playground.
Climbing forest Brabantse Wal in Bergen op Zoom
On Boslustweg in Bergen op Zoom you will find the climbing forest, but there are plenty of other fun things to do around it as well. There is a barefoot path, a playground, a city farm with farm shop, visitor centre Nature stage and there will be catering facilities available for a nice snack and drink.
Climbing forest Dordrecht in the Biesbosch
On the edge of the Biesbosch is Klimbos Dordrecht. A unique experience in this beautiful nature reserve. But there are more activities to do besides climbing. Visit the Biesboschcentrum with interesting and interactive exhibitions, rent a boat or canoe, look for beaver tracks, play in the natural playground or take a dip in Merwelanden recreational lake. Klimbos Gooi-Eemland in Lage Vuursche
In Lage Vuursche, Klimbos Gooi-Eemland is located at Pijnenburg estate. Open to nature lovers, this estate has plenty of opportunities to get some fresh air. Besides the climbing forest, you will find a beautiful cycle path across the estate, several hiking trails, bridle paths and a teahouse for a tasty snack and drink.
Climbing forest Veluwe in Apeldoorn
This climbing forest is located in the middle of Berg and Forest City Park (over 250 hectares in size), where there are many different activities to do. For example, visit the Apenheul, play on the playground, see the 'Stone bench' by the forest pond where Queen Wilhelmina used to paint, climb on the watchtower (26 metres high!), spot deer and boar or follow one of the many hiking trails. The Crown Estates of Paleis het Loo are also nearby.
Clearly, at all our climbing forests, there are many different activities to do. This will extend your fun day out, but of course don't forget to enjoy the climbing too!
