Klimbos Netherlands' climbing forests will be open again daily from 10am to 6.30pm from 10 July. After a crazy period in which all the climbing forests opened in phases and various measures had to be taken into account, the five locations of Klimbos Netherlands can again open daily from the summer holidays. So for everyone who is holidaying in their own country, there is plenty of opportunity for a sporty outing in the cool forest.
Of course, RIVM guidelines are still followed to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Although the climbing forests opened in phases this year, this was not seen as annoying.
"We have recently been working hard at our new location in Dordrecht. There, we built all the routes ourselves. In addition, the other forests also had plenty to maintain," said Rodrick de Wolff, co-owner of Klimbos Nederland. "All climbing forests have to meet high safety standards and we achieved them again."
From 12 May, all five locations will be open. Despite the worse weather in the May month, interest in climbing was high. Co-owner Ciaran Barsema: "Even with worse weather, it is fortunately possible to climb well and safely. We received many calls, on the one hand guests who wanted to know if they could climb with the rain and on the other people who were keen to reserve a spot in this month. This resulted in well-filled forests!"
The outlook for summer is also good. Many Dutch people celebrate holidays at home and then look for fun, active outings for the whole family. Klimbos Netherlands has five locations, Klimbos Veluwe, Klimbos Gooi-Eemland, Klimbos Achterhoek, Klimbos Brabantse Wal and Klimbos Dordrecht. There are
