Last summer, the first National Climbing Forest Day was organised by 20 climbing locations in the Netherlands. The day not only celebrated the climbing forest, it also raised funds to contribute to a more forested environment. On Thursday 23 November, the presentation of the cheque to Trees for All took place.
At the Utrecht office, the cheque was handed over to Trees for All. "We are extremely happy with the result of this first National Climbing Forest Day. Besides being very grateful for the cooperation with the other climbing locations, we are always proud to be able to use the beautiful nature. With this donation, we can give something extra back to the forests," said Simone Dijkhuis of Klimbos Netherlands.
With the donation raised, more than 200 trees can be planted. "The National Climbing Forest Day is a great initiative that not only gets people into the forest to exercise, but also contributed to more trees worldwide," said Joly Bogers of Trees for All.

Again in 2024, we hope to raise a nice donation. In fact, the National Climbing Forest Day will be organised once again, this time in spring.
