Klimbos Dordrecht is expanding with a spectacular grey route

New bungee and freefall route opens on 15 July

Klimbos Dordrecht is expanding its climbing offer with a new, spectacular grey route. With the addition of a bungee and a freefall, a long-held wish of the climbing forest is coming true. From July 15th at 12:30 PM, visitors can tackle the eighth climbing route.

Five years ago, Klimbos Dordrecht opened with seven climbing routes up to a height of ten metres. Since then, the desire to expand the offering with an extra challenging route has been present. After several weeks of intensive work, this expansion has been realised.

The new grey route consists of two spectacular elements: a bungee and a freefall. By connecting these with various climbing sections, a unique climbing experience has been created that complements the existing offerings.

“It's incredibly fun that we were able to expand the treetop adventure park in this way,” explains site manager Dorrit Zomer.“Of course, we've already tested the route ourselves and the enthusiasm within the team is great. We can't wait for our guests to experience it too..”

According to director Ciaran Barsema, the expansion is a logical next step. “With the addition of the grey route, we offer our guests even more challenge and variety. The existing routes are still popular, but this new route makes the climbing forest even more complete.“

Klimbos Dordrecht is part of Klimbos Nederland, with six locations spread across the country: Apeldoorn, Assen, Bergen op Zoom, Dordrecht, Lage Vuursche, and Ruurlo. At each location, visitors of all ages can enjoy challenging climbing routes, providing three hours of active adventure in the heart of nature.
