New climbing location of Klimbos Netherlands is festively opened by alderman Rasker
Climbing enthusiasts from the north of the Netherlands are in for a treat: on 1 April, Klimbos Assen will officially open its doors. A festive opening ceremony with an official act by alderman Rasker will mark the opening of Klimbos Nederland's newest location. Visitors are welcome that day to discover the climbing routes and can also attend a meet & greet with Thibo Brockbernd.
Festive start of a new climbing adventure
From 12.00, invited guests will be received for the official opening. At 12.30, alderman Rasker will perform the opening ceremony, after which a joint toast will be made to the start of Klimbos Assen. Invited guests and season ticket holders will then be the first to explore the routes in the new climbing forest.
From 13:30, the first official instruction for regular guests will start and Klimbos Assen will fully open to the public. The day will be given extra sparkle with a meet & greet with influencer Thibo Brockbernd at 3pm.
Adventure among the trees
Klimbos Assen is the newest location of Klimbos Netherlands and offers visitors an active and adventurous outing in the middle of nature. As at the five other locations, visitors can climb from tree to tree via various routes and obstacles, at different heights and difficulty levels.
Klimbos Netherlands' climbing forests are known for their unique location in real forests and their specially designed climbing routes and platforms, which are entirely developed and built in their own workshop.
Gift for visitors on opening day
Visitors are welcome to experience Klimbos Assen for themselves on 1 April. Tickets can be bought in advance via the website or at the ticket counter. As an extra surprise, guests who register at the ticket office on the opening day will receive a nice gift.
With the opening of Klimbos Assen, Klimbos Nederland is further expanding its network and adding a spectacular outdoor activity for adventurers in the north of the country.
