First visitors brave new bungee and freefall route
Today, the new grey route at Klimbos Dordrecht has officially opened. The extension marks a new milestone for the climbing forest, which from today offers visitors even more of a challenge with a spectacular combination of a bungee, free fall and various climbing elements.

During the festive opening, the first visitors had the opportunity to experience the new route first. The reactions were enthusiastic: the extra challenge and the spectacular finale with the free fall were an immediate hit.
“It was great to see how much enthusiasm there was during the opening,” says location manager Dorrit Zomer. “Over the past few weeks, we've worked hard to make this expansion possible. The fact that the first climbers experienced the route with so much enjoyment today makes us incredibly proud..”
With the grey route, Klimbos Dordrecht now has eight different climbing routes. The expansion aligns with the ambition to offer visitors continually challenging and unique climbing experiences.
Director Ciaran Barsema looks back on the opening with satisfaction. “This new route is a fantastic addition to our existing offering. We are delighted that we can once again surprise our guests with a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.” The new route is accessible to visitors who meet the participation requirements for the grey route from today.
