At Klimbos Nederland, fun comes first, but safety is also a very important pillar! Whether you are an experienced climber or entering a climbing route for the first time, we make sure everyone can enjoy a carefree day of adventure in nature.
From our TÜV certification to our daily safety checks, with us everything is focused on one thing - your safety.

TÜV-certified: Quality and safety guaranteed

Our climbing forests and all our climbing routes are TÜV-certified, which means they meet the strictest European safety standards for climbing forests.
This certification confirms that all our elements, fuse systems and safety procedures have been approved by independent experts. TÜV certification is not just a label, it is a promise to our visitors that they can count on the highest quality and maximum safety with us.

Inspection by TÜV is annual, so safety is continuously guaranteed.

Daily monitoring of routes and platforms

Every morning before the climbing forest opens, our staff conducts a thorough safety check of all routes.
We check ropes, fuse cables, bridges and platforms If anything deviates even slightly from our safety standard, it is adjusted or replaced immediately. In some cases, this means temporarily closing our route.

So you can be sure that every course you enter has been carefully checked and 100% found to be safe.

Regular monitoring of materials

Besides daily inspections, we also carry out periodic inspections of all our equipment and installations. Our climbing belts and carabiners are regularly tested for wear and tear and strength.
These strict maintenance procedures keep all our materials in top condition and you feel it when you climb: stable, reliable and comfortable.

Always clear safety instructions

Before you are allowed to climb independently, you will receive comprehensive safety instruction from our instructors. During this explanation, you will learn step by step how the fuse system works, how to move yourself safely over obstacles and what to do if you need help.

Our tutors are known for their clear explanations and personal attention. They take the time to make everyone feel confident and well-prepared.

After the explanation, all climbers go over the demo course for a while to show that they understood the explanation. A double check, in other words!

This means that from the moment you go up the route to the moment you have both feet back on the ground, you are always secured.
