Klimbos Bergen op Zoom now even bigger!

14 June 2024

In recent weeks, the construction team at Klimbos Nederland in Bergen op Zoom has been working hard. The climbing forest in the Brabantse Wal nature reserve has added a new route, bringing the total to 10 climbing routes! This afternoon, this route was festively opened by the Klimbos subscription holders, who were the first to climb it.

The desire for a 4e junior route, with mainly zip-lines, had been around for some time for the largest climbing forest in North Brabant. "At Klimbos Bergen op Zoom, we noticed that our junior climbers would also like to do a zip line route. However, the brown route is only accessible to climbers taller than 1.40m. This gave us the idea of creating a junior zip line. So for regular climbers, who find the brown route a bit too exciting, there is now an alternative.", said Ashley Godeschalk, site manager of Klimbos Bergen op Zoom.

After cutting the orange ribbon with the big scissors, there was room for a glass of Bubblesfresh and then, of course, the route could be climbed.

Each of the locations is unique, but one thing they have in common is the beautiful surroundings.

All our climbing forests are located in real forests, where we do not use climbing poles. This gives you the best climbing experience! We build and maintain the routes ourselves and they are inspected externally for safety. Our staff is trained to give safety instructions and to give you the best experience. A day you will never forget!
